Noob Questions

I know this is probably a totally noobish question but I'll ask anyway. I know the iPhone uses iTunes for syncing data and downloading music but is it possible to copy mp3 files directly to the iPhone from my CD collection?

Also does AT&T offer any kind of phone insurance for lost, stolen, broken iPhones? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

No insurance offered by ATT.

If you copy your CD tracks to iTunes and then make a playlist and sync that to the iPhone, then yes. Other than that way, no.
