Notifications and camera not on lock screen

Need help. I downloaded the new software and notifications and my camera is on my lock screen. Do I need to do something in settings or what.

only notifications that you've received since you last unlocked the phone will show on the lockscreen.

double click the home button for the camera button.

K thanks. I'll try that. I thought that a camera icon was suppose to be by the slider.

Double click home button for camera & the icon appears. Use the up volume button to take pic. You can set up notifications but the basics like messages should be set already. Get somebody to send you a message & the message icon & preview appear, swipe it like your unlocking your phone to go to messages. You can set up notifications ever how you want in settings.

Tks got the. Camera icon to come up. I've seen the message thing come up I just thought that you could pull down the notifications screen on the lock screen.

you can if you've gotten more than one notification since you last unlocked the phone. A little tab will appear below the clock.
