Oddball Question (I think)

When you are in one application (any app, like the iCafe app) you click a link that opens the browser and takes you to that site, so far so good. Is there some shortcut to closing the browser and reopening the previous app when you are done viewing the website? Or do I just have to do this manually?

Not a big deal, I just keep thinking I'm missing something.

This is where I utilize the double click the home button feature to get to the "task manager" and get back to the original app.
I hate that when you close the browser it doesn't go back to where you started. I am dumb sometimes and forget where I was initially as what I was doing because the link distracted me.

You can use an app/tweak from Cydia called appslide


This will automatically return to the previously opened app.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to go with the double click method, I'm not ready for Jailbreaking.

Agree that a universal back button or gesture would be an improvement especially since multi-core and a decent notification system promote multitasking.
