I have been reading these forums since launch, very helpful useful information on here. I have to say the things i love the most are the pics people have taken with their iPhones, (I really enjoy the ones from San Fran, and the ones with Super Mario on the desktop wallpaper)

So heres my deal, I have recently changed from a blackjack to the iPhone, so far i have lost
- Slingplayer (2 hour bus ride home need my tv)
- The ability to picture message,
- The ability to use my phone as a modem
- Sirius radio (blackjack was awesome to listen to howard on the way to work)

Anyway, tomorrow is day 14 so i have been thinking of whether or not i should return my phone or not for the last 13 days.

i have to say i love this phone, and even though i am missing all those features i listed above, i am going to keep my phone hoping that some updates fix at least some of them! I would be happy with listening to SIRIUS.



So to make a long story short, you guys have another member!

I know you can't get ALL the Sirius Channels via the internet, but you can get SOME of them... have you tried going to the Sirius Website and seeing if you can listen through there?

I also dumped a blackjack for the iPhone. I also had questions concerning the lack of ability to be used as a modem. I don't listen serious radio however i did read ebooks and i am missing the ability to do that. As for the modem issue, that has turned out to be less of an issue for me than i thought it would be. I am a mortgage broker and most of the things i do i use the web to do, i had to teather the phone to my laptop to do my job, now i can do it all on the phone and i do not need the laptop except to print docs. Hopefully Apple will come up with a book reader in their updates or just add the ability to bookmark a pdf file and i can read my books in a pdf format.

I tried going to Sirius, the webpage loads, and i can click on load player, the player then loads, but where it should say streaming music, it just has a blue square box. I am guessing it uses windows media player to stream this, so as of now i am out of luck

As far as movies go, that is exactly what i did, i am watching transformers and Harry potter OOTP

ANyone wants, i can share ;)

If its a blue square box then I think its flash because when you goto flash sites thats the same box you get ... Atleast flash is something that was announced by Apple that it was comming so be ready
