Apple should be sued. My iPhone must be defective. It won't do the following things properly...

- Wash my car
- Do my laundry
- Play DVDs (I can't believe they forgot a slot for DVDs!)
- Act as a Remote for my TV
- Move the Lawn
- Shave my Legs
- Where's the button to switch to AM/FM Radio?
- Clip my Toenails
- Read my Mind

Anyone else have these problems! We should all demand a refund!

:p

We're not asking for amazing features. We're asking for features that are available on every other phone out there...

MMS, Profiles, Decent call volume, etc

This is an example of what I was talking about. Making the leap from call volume problems which is a known problem to this. And, then you say others have anger management problems. This is just a mean spirited attempt to poke fun of others who do not share your opinion. This is why people out there feel alienated toward Apple fan boys.....

It was a joke, lighten up. Jeez. I gave a LOT of good ideas to try for the volume problems, and have typically been very helpful around these forums, so don't go casting stones my way.

Sorry I didn't realize this was an iPhone comedy show. Perhaps you should post your mothers picture, this might lighten the mood....

And you accuse others of being mean? I think someone needs to get a life in exchange for their iPhone (hint - look in a mirror).

Maybe you should return it to Apple?
I would and could and almost did, but was told by the folks there that they all sound like this. Maybe this is just a subjective argument. Maybe what others think is acceptable and what I think is different. I am waiting for an update.

I found your humor funny don't pay attention to some of the up tight people's comments. I know some of the things listed aren't possible on a phone at least no where near as of yet but, the point is it was a joke. I take it in a sense that u would feel that way after all the hype that was created over the iPhone and the price u paid.

Ah, the beauty of the iPhone is beginning to instill great feelings of lust and envy in society's peasantry who cannot afford one. Don't feel bad that your attempt at sarcasm only poured salt in their wounds.

LOL!

That was seriously a joke and I bet others laughed. Perhaps you are right as I signed on to this forum a couple days ago to learn about the iPhone and now I have resorted to justifying my questions and making fun of mothers. This is not what the forum is intended for. Perhaps I don't belong with the Apple people aside from enjoying the products....

Holy cow some of you need to get a life... that was funny and obviously drabbit echoes mine and I'm sure a lot of people's thoughts exactly...

It's a phone. If you like it - enjoy it. Many people do. If you don't like it - you have 14 days to bring it back. Please do and enjoy your Treo/Razr/Insert Phone Here.

What NO ONE should do is waste valuable moments of their life making top 100 lists of why I should/shouldn't spend my hard earned money on something I want to buy nor should you trash or defend something to the death.

And finally, for the love of God, no more "in-depth" reviews by people who've played with it for 5 minutes in a store.

Look, I heard someone actually complain today that their iPhone couldn't send voice MMS messages. Read that again. I almost died laughing. Maybe it's a generational thing... lol... but we wonder why society is becoming so antisocial. How about if you want to send a voice message you JUST CALL... ROFL!

Ahh, as I am new to the iPhone lingo I am still unclear how you make the leap from disagreement about a feature performance or misunderstanding a joke to not owning a phone? I feel like I am being called a liar in an internet forum. I love the phone I simply want the speaker to be louder. Do you honestly believe I am lying about this?

I'm talking about the influx of trolls lately who gnash their teeth in anger at the success of iPhone.

Jobs never said the iPhone is the best phone ever made. He said it's the best ipod ever made. There's a very important distinction there.

Agreed. And I won't list all the Ipods I currently and have owned, but IMHO the best Ipod ever.

Agreed! Obviously we still have it because we like it.
And seriously the reviews/bashings need to stop. We've all spent the better part of a week with the phone and know all the ins and outs, likes/dislikes, etc., so it is becoming insulting when I see threads touting "new problems/things Apple did wrong". I know all of those those things and so does every one else! I'm not even going into those threads anymore...

For the love...

Come On...

So much hate. Why doesn't everyone just start over? I'll go first:

Hi, my name is Alex and I enjoy long walks on the beach and the crust cut off my sandwhiches.

WHAT AN IDIOT! Who takes the crust off their sandwhiches! MORON. YOU MUST BE A MORON! Also, who WALKS? That's why they made Segways.

I'm pretty sure they made Segways to challenge our U.S. President, but that's just a theory.

Back on topic however, the iPhone indeed cannot mow your lawn. This is not news to anyone in the forums. May I direct you to the "Future iPhone" boards?
