I noticed that too! There's no way this was a mistake. Its using 2 decimal points. If they misplaced the decimal point, i'm sure they didn't mean there's 2.313 GB of free space.

I wonder if they are going to give us 10x the storage as a surprise? 4gb are now 40gb, and the 8gb models are now going to 80gb!

How do we know that's the iPhone?.. to me it would seem to be a screenshot of an 80GB iPod....

perhaps it's just the size of a prototype or an ipod video that's attached? just a thought

pretty sure it was a mistake . im a video editor and things like that happened .. the first time they showed the bar at the bottom it was correct . just wasn't correct the 2nd time and a big boo boo since he was actually telling you this time that was were it tells you how much space is left .

Maybe the prototypes they made for the important Apple/AT&T/Walt Mossberg types are 80 GB...

im hoping someone cracks this b#@%! open and upgrades the HD capacity like they did with the Apple tv. i think i would pay someone to do that for me. i can't see how having more space would compromise battery life. do you? thoughts?
