pacific, central time or eastern?
I am wondering if mine is backordered since I didn't get that text yet. Here's what my email
says.
"Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012."
Ordered via AT&T site? 9/21?

your says "Processing"in the same area as mine. The only confusing part for me is why one of my 4 wireless numbers appears there since I ordered a brand new 5th line?
Same here. I ordered through the premier site. No email confirmation yet. No definite ship date. But when i go to the AT&T premier site, it shows the same screen as yours. Shows one sim, one phone. And it says processing. Also has the new number since it will be an added line. So i guess that is a good thing. It is at least progress. I just need to see when it ships.
I am seriously wishing I had just went through Apple....
Everyone who ordered via Apple has emails, been charged, and know the status of the order..
Us AT&T orderers are left wondering what the heck is going on...
Next time I will use Apple instead... Lesson learned!
Ditto. Same here. I, like a lunatic, check my bank account to see if the $ has come out yet. Used a Debt card. Then I check the Apple Store App, then I check my email, hoping some new info will show up somewhere and the others would catch up.

In my defense, I have been up since 2am this morning. Haven't taken a nap or anything. I think when I do fall asleep it'll be a loooong one.
Mine says the same thing. Ordered through a premier account (don't have to pay activation fee), says "processing", and states "as early as 9/21". Could they get more vague? Ugh. I just want to know when my $500 worth of phones will get here! Is that too much to ask?
Mine says processing through the premier site. But when i call the order status number, it says backordered?
EDITED: I ordered mine last night around 4 am central time, maybe a little later than that. So it was a few hours i guess after they started taking orders. But it is weird that online it says processing, but on the phone it says it is backordered. And i have to wait till they get more to have it shipped.

I ordered three iPhone 5's (2-16GB & 1-32GB) just as they went on sale @ 2:00am central. I had to do each sale separately on my Apple iPhone app but they all went through and show a delivery date of 9/21.
(In case your wondering, I had to borrow two upgrades from friends who weren't using them.. AT&T approved in advance)

I was unable to place my preorder online during the wee hours, so I got to our local AT&T store during a morning break from work at about 9:45 a.m. EST. At that time I was told that they had just received word that all pre-orders were shipping in 14-21 BUSINESS days (almost 3-4 weeks!) Needless to say, I will be taking my chances in the store on launch day.
That can't be true at all. I'm sure many will get there's on launch day from the FedEx guy or UPS guy.
Yes, I'm sure that many who ordered early enough will get theirs on launch day. What I'm saying is that I was told that preorders made at the time I was in the store (or later) were going to take that long.
How do you guys post pictures? When i try it says to enter url. I don't have a url, it is saved on my computer?
I also tried a premier or "education" discount and it didn't recognize either. How does a person get a premier?
