I'm not sure. I'm on the AT&T premier site and can't log in. I work at a school so I get a discount, but it won't accept my login. Something's fishy here... Investigating.

My Premier account is through my employer that offers a 20% discount with AT&T and Verizon.
Just got off the phone with AT&T. CSR said their systems are going "crazy" with order numbers and they can't find mine. Not that it's not valid, just that they can't check it now. Recommended I call back in the morning.
So help me God, if this order didn't go through I'm going to go @#$% nuts!

Show your school ID at any AT&T store and you can get hooked up with the discount.

When i go to that site and enter my info, it says pending shipment for my order. When i try to check it directly through att.com, it says that is hasn't been shipped. And it is still processing just like when i first placed the order. So i am confused which one is correct?

Just got off the phone with AT&T. Was on hold for 30 minutes, and all I wanted to confirm was that I would get the phones on the 21st. When I check online all I get are things like "processing" and "will be shipped when available". Too vague for me. I want answers, specifics. CSR looked at my order and now says it will be shipped October 4th through 14th! WTF! I ordered at 7am CST and got an email after this stating my phone had been "reserved". Why is it now back ordered? Gave her a mouth full, but all she said that there was a delay in ALL preorders of the iPhone 5. That's fine if I didn't get up early enough or others had ordered before me, but why send me an email saying mine was "reserved". Never again will I preorder with AT&T. I'm staying up late like everyone else from now on and ordering through the iPhone app. I'm furious right now! I'm still hoping AT&T doesn't know what they are talking about and I'll still get mine. Otherwise, I'm taking the day off and getting in line. Ugh.

Same problem here. The Apple store app. Reserved @12:02am pacific time verified @05:23. and now showing processing delivery Oct 5

Just checked my wife's and it went from pending to received. Next box is pre-ordered then shipped.
jmp316: How did you get a CSR to verify your order status? I just got off the phone with AT&T and they indicated that there was no way to tell me if I got in the first round of orders or not. I ordered my phone at 3:05 AM and got my processed email at 3:14 AM. I would assume I got in, but she said she couldn't tell me until the phone actually SHIPS.
She also said that she has been told that the iPhone 5 will SHIP from AT&T on Sept 21. That would mean a Sat or Monday delivery. Not a HUGE deal, but VERY misleading if that happens. They'll have a TON of irate customers should that be the case.

I am interested in that also. They have some ppl who swear that live chat told them their phone would be in by the 21st. But when i tried live chat, they said they had no way of telling me when i would get it. That i would have to wait for an email telling me it was shipped. And they had no idea when that email would get to me.
Ordered mine at about 12:40 AM PST (about 40 min after orders went live) and it still says processing on AT&T site...
Looks like all AT&T orders are being delayed until 2 to 3 weeks out. Can I cancel my pre order and just pick one up on 9/21?

All orders placed now on any site will be two weeks delivery. Those placed upon release time are still on a 9/21 delivery timeframe.
Check out the article. Doesn't sound like it.
I ordered mine on 9/14 and it still says Processing.
What I got from the article was that AT&T pre-orders made before they ran out of stock will ship by the 21st and anything after they ran out of stock is now 2-3 weeks..
BTW.. I ordered 40 min after it started and mine still says processing as well.. However, AT&T told me when I called to inquire that mine has an estimated ship day of 9-20...
