Apple's new Panorama feature that allows you to take panoramic photos. On the iPhone, does it work in landscape mode or strictly portrait?

Probably because you would end up with a 15 foot wide panorama.

I wouldn't want to capture panoramas using landscape. You would be vertically cutting out a lot of the scenery.

I did that back in Aug of 2009 with my iPhone 3GS.

I love the panorama feature in iOS6.. Just snap the beginning of the photo and then just pivot to the right while keeping the arrow on the middle of the line.. It's almost like its recording after the snap then freezing the whole pic together.. I'll be using this a lot!

When you're in the camera app, select "Options" located at the top. You can then enable panoramic mode.
