Has anyone else tried Microsoft's new Live Mesh website on their iPhones? Wow, is it really neat. What you can do is take a folder of files that are on your PC and mark them as "Live Mesh" (after you install the Live Mesh software). The files are automatically synched to the Live Mesh website. You can then access the files on your iPhone at m.mesh.com and open them up for reading (no update of course, since the iPhone doesn't have Word or Excel just the viewers). But the great thing is, whenever you update the file on your PC, the file you see on your iPhone is automatically updated also. I have been looking for something like this for my iPhone for a long time. It really does work well. Has anyone else tried it. You have to apply to become a Live Mesh user (it's free), but they are looking for testers and I was approved immediately. The address is www.mesh.com. They say they will have a Mac version out at some point also.

I use Foldershare (from Microsoft www.foldershare.com) and what it does is it runs in the background and any changes to the folders your designate, it immediately updates them. So I run it on my office PC, home, and laptop. If I scan a bill into my document manager (trying to be paperless here) it is visible almost instantly on all machines.

Sounds like Mesh is similar. Going to check it out (as well as see if Foldershare has a mobile version) as I never even thought about having access to all my files on my iPhone.

Jupiter's sulphur mines
nice find. This seems to be the sort of thing that can save me time. I can now have all my golf club specs and fitting charts available to me. Sounds similar to Google Documents.
