I'm at a loss. In my Yahoo inbox I have a message saying to load 2 more messages (my test e-mail and my welcome e-mail) yet it doesn't load anything. I've already deleted them after reading from both the iPhone and on Yahoo. Is this a syncing issue w/ Yahoo?

I tried search to no avail. Figured this deserved it's own thread just in case there isn't one started elsewhere.

Same here

The same thing happens to me on a pop account. It keeps saying "Load 25 more messages" even though there is nothing left on the server.

I have two other email accounts on here as well, but I don't have this issue with them.

Any thoughts?

My Yahoo acct. is doing the exact same thing and I have no idea why. Anyone with some information on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Is there something I have to do to my Yahoo account other than become a premium member or whatever/

Still nothing...I was going to let it go overnight to see if it had to refresh or something but nothing. Hopefully it's an easy issue to fix!

I think if you have the msgs remain on the server, the phone wont retrieve msgs it has already retrieved, so it says its loading them, but....man, I dunno.

Restarted or reset?
I just did a restart using the method of holding the power button for 3 seconds and swiping. Got the busy symbol and then the powered off.

Does that help?

Does make me think, what would one do if the OS was locked, since you can't remove the battery.

Here's how I understand it:

You setup your phone to display X amount of email. Settings > Mail > Show. Once it reaches that amount, you get a message that says Load Y amount of messages. What's happening is that if your email exceeds the # that you've set to display, you'll get the Load Y amount of messages... message because of the limitation you've set. I found that I was getting the message because my old mail was being retrieved...100's of old mail. Gmail POP was setup to retrieve all mail from a date WAY in the past. In order for me to stop receiving the old mail, I had to turn off and turn back on the POP feature in Gmail so that it would only retrieve mail from that point on.

I've got mine all figured out. I run my Yahoo email through Microsoft Entourage on my Mac. In the settings for this account, I had a box checked that said delete messages off the server. Once I unchecked this box, I started getting all of my emails on my phone. The only problem is that I have 300-some emails that are not on the server, so I cannot access those from my phone. Hope this makes sense
