Ive searched and cant seem to find an answer for this. I got a new iPhone and a MacBook Pro. Everything is great so far but my question is there a way to sync the photos you already have linked in your contacts? Example. My macbook address book has all my contacts (most with photos) but when synced with the iPhone none of the contacts have photos on the iPhone it syncs all contact/info but no photo. In reverse when I add a photo to a contact on my iPhone it gets added to the MacBook addess contact after a sync so it seems to only be working one way (from iPhone to macbook and NOT from MacBook back to iPhone)

Thanks!

I have had the same exact problem. I have a MBP as well and none of my photos moved from my machine to the iPhone.

The photos themselves did not migrate or sync but my contacts in the iPhone do in fact show the same pictures that are in my address book on my iMac and MBookPro... is that what you mean?
Yeah the "contact photos" didn't migrate or sync from the MacBookPro to the iPhone.

I can add a "contact photo" while on the iPhone and it will migrate to my MacBookPro though. Just stinks because I have LOTS of contacts with pictures and would like them to be able to sync and not have to manual add each one to the iPhone.

yeah it is like a sharp stick in the eye. I added all of the ones that did not tranfer in a contacts folder from iPhoto. Now that they have all been corrected photos seam to sync in both directions with no issues.

Weird. I have a macbook pro and it copied all my contacts from address book's pictures to my iPhone AND the other way around. Go beat up your local Applestore genius.

If Contact photos don't sync from Mac to iPhone, open the contact in Address Book, click Edit, double click the image, then adjust the size and position to fill the box, then click Set. On the next sync the photo will transfer correctly.
It appears the Address Book does not embed the image if you just drag the image into the box. It keeps it in the original format until you commit by pressing Set.

Cool that worked. What a pain that was to re-set all the contacts but it worked. Thanks for the info!
