photos...double?

hey there, this has not ever happened to me before, but yesterday when i plugged in my iPhone into the computer. everything is fine except one thing. my photo album is now duplicated
so now it will have 2 folder
one have a picture(album pic) of the first photo(total of 8) i have in the computer
and just yesterday another folder was brought up named " photo library" with the same 8 pictures i have in the first album but the display folder picture is the flower( like the one on the menu)

did this ever happen to any one of you? if so could you please tell me how to get rid of it, since its annoying after i put few hundreds of pictures in there with all duplication.

This sounds strange. I know the "Photo Library" folder is not a dupilcate but it contains all your pictures, so if you have 12 different folders, you can see all the pictures of each folder in one place, it isn't a duplicate though. This seems like what you're describing.

Yes, I can confirm this. The "Photo Library" is every single picture you have on the phone. The rest of the folders are the ones you've created. The Photo Library folder will always be there.

i know what you are talking about but now when i go to photos, i will see 3 folders
one is the camera roll( my pictures i take with iPhone)
the other one is called hte Photo Library, with 8 pictures
and another folder is called iPhone( i named it on my computer so sync) with the same 8 pictures are in the photo library, but different order.

its hard to explain, but in short what i was trying to say is there are 2 folder that have the same pictures, but different order, and i only chose 1 folder in my computer to be able to sync into my iPhone

there is a glitch or something happened just yesterday when i plug my iPhone in

That is normal. You will have :

Camera Roll (Pics taken with Camera)
Photo Library (ALL the pictures in every folder you have on your phone)
Whatever folders you create and sync with your phone.

If you were to add another folder and sync to your phone, you will see all of those pictures as well in the "PHOTO LIBRARY" as well as in the folder you originally created it in. I hope this better explains it for you.

I swear that mine recently changed like you are describing. All I can figure is that it did it after I just updated iTunes (from 7.3.0 to 7.3.1) but I swear that earlier in the week it only showed my Camera Roll and the single folder that I have synced. Now it shows the 3

I use a mac, iphoto warns me if i try to sync duplicate photos.

Its not syncing double. Its just that I currently have 1 folder on my PC synced. When I go to pictures on the iPhone it shows my synced folder, and it also shows Photo Library that just contains the exact same images as my synced folder.

I know that Photo Library is just there to hold all your pictures, but it doesn't make much sense when there is only one other folder.

Also like the OP, I swear that before in pictures it only showed the folder for Camera Roll and my PC synced folder.

Yeah this happen to me don't know when it happened, I don't know how to delete it either.
