Picture ID when Receiving a call?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum but have been observing for months now. Sorry if this topic has been posted before: Did anyone notice that the Apple commericals show the picture caller ID in a small window at the top of the screen. But, when you add an image to your contacts, their pic takes up the screen when they call. Is there a way to select to have a small or full-size image displayed?

Not that i've found. I like the full-screen mode, anyway.

Full Screen? I always just get the little one up in the right hand corner. Maybe its because the phone is locked when a call comes in? I have never had an image go full screen though. hmmmm

Umm, you talkin' about when their picture is on the screen, WITHIN a call?
It's always full-screen for me.

I believe if you uploaded a picture from your address on your mac or pc then it will be tiny, if you took the picture on the phone and set it as a picture ID then it will be full screen. That is the conclusion I have come to so far, correct me if im wrong

Nope when my phone is locked and it rings and I look at it i have the little picture in the upper right and then i have the slide to answer. I answer and I still have the pic up in the right corner nothing full screen.

The iPhone Displays A Full Screen Picture Caller I.D. When You Select And "Assign A Contact" Through Your Photo Albums. It Shows The Small Picture When You Add A Contact Photo Through A Program Such As Outlook And Then Sync It With Your iPhone. At First I Used The Small Pictures Until I Mistakenly Selected A Photo Album Picture Which Overrhode It. I'm Glad It Did Because I Like The Fulscreen Caller I.D. Photo Much More.

yes, just tried using a pic from the phone and it came up full screen. Deleted the picture from my contact and then put a picture into my address book on my mac and uploaded to the phone and called the contact and got a tiny picture.

The pics I put in via OUTLOOK are small.

Yes, I tried this last night and it works great. Did you notice it does this on outgoing calls also? Pretty cool!

The pics are small when you're on the contacts page, but once you're in a call with the contact the pic is full screen.
