Hmm... Well you probably believe that because that's what the demonstration guide said it was.Now I'm not positive, but I believe the album "Camera Roll" featured in the Guided Tour actually contains pictures taken with the iPhone Camera. Any thoughts on this?
(BTW This is my first post but I have been reading the forums for quite some time)
Yes, the camera roll is where the pics taken with the phone are, per the demo. Welcome to EI!Now I'm not positive, but I believe the album "Camera Roll" featured in the Guided Tour actually contains pictures taken with the iPhone Camera. Any thoughts on this?

So wouldn't that mean the picture showed in the demo was taken with the camera? If it in fact was, then the pictures look pretty good in my opinion.Yes, the camera roll is where the pics taken with the phone are, per the demo. Welcome to EI!
Yeah, the pic of the hot girl was supposedly taken w/phone, and it did look pretty good.So wouldn't that mean the picture showed in the demo was taken with the camera? If it in fact was, then the pictures look pretty good in my opinion.
hot girl? please tell me you're joking.Yeah, the pic of the hot girl was supposedly taken w/phone, and it did look pretty good.
Lemme look again, my memory sucks!hot girl? please tell me you're joking.
I agree. I would use the camera, but it's not a make-or-break deal. the 2mp is far better than my SLVR's camera, though, so I'm happy with that.Do people care that much about the camera? I just read some diatribe where they said the iPhone fails as a high end phone because it does not have a 5 megapixel camera, with a flash and specia optical lens.
To me the camera is a nice add-on, but not the primary reason people will buy an iPhone. So I don't need a top of the line camera built in, just one to do the basics and be worthwhile.
While I don't deny that adding the camera to the iPhone is more of a "me too" move, I think you'll be impressed by the lens and picture quality.
