My guess is iTunes, because we are all hyped up about this being an ipod with a phone, but Apple is more like, "this is an ipod with INTERNET! And oh by the way, you can make calls too." iTunes on the iPhone: Big whoop.

This is way out there but I would think to ultimate user interface on this kind of device besides the finger is the voice. I would love at the very least to take audio notes and my dream would via the ability to transcribe my speech into text. This would be excellent for my workflow.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted it. I need youtube. Anyway, don't you think that Apple would looooove people to be able to buy music anywhere anytime?

Ooooh! I thought of another killer app. Music Recognition. You're out somewhere and you hear a great song and you want it. You record a few seconds, send it over the internet to some service and they tell you what it is, and you buy the song with iTunes. A couple phones already have it. I saw a Verizon? commercial and the Sony Ericsson w580i will have it. Why not the iPhone?

Then again, maybe they'll be able to add the software later on.

Yeah, if you have a web browser then you have YouTube*. We access YouTube on the Wii and it works great.

* of course your browser needs to support it and you need a speedy connection

Surely, if it can stream 10 MB movies, it can download 1 MB iTunes songs.

To be honest, I am not quite sure there will be a secret application. Argue with me as you would like, but I don't understand why they would hold back one of the selling points. Apple usually spills everything they can to sell their product. My honest guess is that the video was edited poorly and there was a small slipup. I could be wrong though, and I hope I am. It could be something amazing :laugh2:.

I think a widget was removed not added. Like the way that you could customize your ipod settings.

Revealed 3 Extras

1. Memory Stick/memory drive to add more memory to iPhone, sold only at
Apple Stores or online at Apple.com

2. Add personal credit card information to use iPhone at swipe card stations

3. UHF and VHF television capabilities

I just heard this from a very reliable source.

I really hope Flash support is included. Apple is really pushing YouTube to upgrade the quality of their streams to H.264 which could mean a couple things:

1) Apple want better adoption of H.264 video (to be expected)
2) The iPhone is not going to have Flash support

It seems to me Apple doesn't want to support Flash if it doesn't have to. I really couldn't care less about the quality of YouTube videos myself...

I believe Apple's push to have YouTube convert to H.264 has more to do with AppleTV. I think the iPhone support is just a nice side effect.
