Price of an adapter cable

Just wondering how much you pay for the short Apple adapter cable (from old connector to new connector)

I paid 39 euro's!

I think you paid way to much but i don't really know the actual price so maybe it's the fair one.

but yes Apple charges a good buck
No I also like that you can just go in the store and get it exchanged when it breaks down
The new lighting cables are coming 3rd party I already bought some check Belkin

please tell me, if I grab the HDMI adaptor
Will the iPad or iPhone work on the big screen without Apple TV?
My bro tells me he puts the HDMI adaptor w the iPad and whalla his whole iPhone is on his tv

I think that if you use a HDMI cable the sound does not work... Better check this

Yes it will work. It mirrors the phone screen. Audio works too. My info comes from reading the Q & As on the Apple store. I plan on purchasing this so I read up,
