Problem with iPhone connection

iPhone 4s will not connect to my home wifi. iPad connects wi no problem. I have updated my router but still no connection. The error message I receive is "cannot join the network". Any ideas? Phone will join other networks with no problem.

Try changing channels on the router, check to see what the max # of wireless devices is set at. Set router to g only, turn off all security and see if it connects.

having similar problem on wife's iPhone 4 after we tried replacing our AT&T modem/router yesterday. all phones and computers worked fine before we disconnected our 2Wire modem/router. We couldn't connect the new modem successfuly so we reconnected the 2Wire. Now only her iMac and my MacBook Pro have been able to reconnect successfuly. Her iPhone, an iPod Touch and an old G4 laptop cannot reconnect. Any suggestions?
