Every time I try to run any channels from Sirius my computer wants to open windows media player and then gives me an error saying I need to update my codecs. I am not very computer savvy but I was able to get Sirius on my Motorola Q and it seems I am not doing something right. Thanks in advance for the help.

Orb.com can see you are in IE or FF on a windows machine so it open WMP.

Go to the same links from your iPhone and orb will see you are in safari and open the links in Quicktime.

But if you want to listen to it on your PC, just download the codec. I'm not sure but when Windows gives you the error message, it also had a button called "more details". You may click on this and it should give you the name (or code) of the codec you need. Just google the name or code of the codec and the microsoft website should be the first result. Go there and download the appropriate codec

uSirius needs to remain running on your pc.

When you go to orb on your iPhone and click the channel icon what happens?

Does it say loading movie?

Are you getting the gray quicktime screen?

OK, so lets assume you pasted the link (starting with mms:.........................) into Orb. Keep uSirius opened as well as orb.
Take your iPhone, go to orb, sign in, click Internet Radios and choose the channel you set up (Howard stern or whatever you set up). It's gonna open quiktime and then will start to play

Quick time starts with a blue play arrow on the bottom. I click it "loading movie comes on" I press play and nothing happens. I will try to copy/paste the address again.

Wait a minute after clicking the blue arrow. Depending on your internet connection (or Edge) it may take time

its definitely in USirius when I log in itlogin successful and when my iPhone connects it says " unsupported user agent:NS player/4.1.0.3936". I know my login and passwords are correct. What to do?

Is orb running on your pc?

Click the orb icon by the clock and click configure then advanced.

Are all 6 check boxes checked?

Press the Check button?

Does it pass?

Yes it does pass but whenever I hit the preset button for any Sirius favorite from the iPhone it automatically logs me off of uSirius. I checked my settings and my password which is 8 letters is now about 20 letters?

The password thing is normal, to help hide it.

Sounds like a firewall is blocking the incoming request.

Make sure you have port 19080 open or the request from orb will be blocked.

If you ware on a home network you will nedd to map the port to the IP of the PC uSirius is running on.
