You entered the SSID of your network I assume.
Make sure you double check what type is encryption your router is using, and the the encryption key is case sensitive. Ive missed a capital letter once and drove me nuts till I figured it out. Hope this helps. ?

First of all choose SSID.Then enter password. Then you have to give your internet connection password.Connection will be established. But if there is a problen then check router configurations like MAC Address, etc.

Hi all. I'm sure there is at least 10,000 iPhone gurus here. I'm certainly NOT one. I did a search here for Wi-Fi and got nothing. My phone used to connect to my home wi fi but it wont now. It asks me to type the password and after I type it I get the message "Could not join." I know the password (WEP key) and my computers and my wife's phone (not an iPhone) connects just fine. I tried removing the Wi Fi from my phone and then resetting it. That didn't work either. I also restarted my iPhone and my router.

What's next?

Thank you,

Scott

Thank you all for your responses. I have done each one and I still get the same result. I checked my router settings just to make sure nothing obvious was interfering with iPhone. My wife's Android is connected and so are our computers. I wish iPhone wold give more detail to why it is unable to join the network!

Did u drop your phone!
No. phone is just happily running along. It lives in an otter box for extra protection. It's just being stupid. I made sure I had the current OS. I have restarted my phone. I may just have to take it in to Verizon. Sometimes I can't unlock it when a call comes in. I can slide the unlock icon but it snaps back, other times I can't even slide the unlock. I found that if I hit the lock button on top then I can unlock it. I would take it in, but I don't want to pay for another iPhone (mine will have been discontinued or something) and get the iPhone 4S. It locks me into another 2 years with Verizon and takes three hours to do. When I connect my phone to my computer iTunes comes up and says that the iPhone connection ? didn't install correctly, Do you want to fix it? I say yes and it opens iTunes and does the sync. I try to upgrade and/or install my apps but the Star Walk is broken and cannot be installed on my phone. I have lost numerous contacts until I re-enter them, then there is their picture just as before and I didn't put it there when I re-entered the contact! I think I am losing it. I may just strip naked and run around the neighborhood.

Try calling your ISP. Happened to my iPad a few months ago. I could not connect to my home wifi. ATT fixed from their end in 1 minute.
