Problems syncing with Exchange 03'

I have read some of the other posts regarding isuues with Exchange 03'. My company is running Exchange 03' and to date I have not been able to Sync my iPhone properly. After several hours of working with my IT guy I am finally able to send and email through our server. The problem that I am now facing is its inability to load any emails from my inbox or for that matter reveive any incoming emails. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to remedy this problem.

While the iPhone email configuration does have an Exchange tab, use IMAP instead if your server allows it. Just seems to work better from what I've seen.

I have actually tried to set it up as a POP and IMAP account. Neither of them are working, even though I have the Server set up to allow both.

I have the exact same issue. I can send emails through IMAP and a MS Exchange2003 Server, I just can't receive them. I have sat with my IT guy and we can't figure it out. If I am in the office and use our Wifi...send and receive work with no problem. Once I switch outside of the firewall, then I have issues. We have checked every setting that we would think of with the firewall and still no luck.
