Like many, I am thoroughly enjoying using my iPod touch 4 and learning through all the teething problems. I have managed to load my music and my music vids on to the iPod touch; however, I am finding photographs a problem. I have created photo albums on my computer, I then go to iTunes, click the Photo tab, select the albums on my computer I want uploaded onto my iPod touch.....but then a message appears threatening to wipe clean all the apps and other data from my iPod touch.
Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
In gratitude,
JB

It sounds to me like your iPod Touch 4th Generation (this is the iPhone 4 forum, actually) is synced to another computer and iTunes account. You need to find out which computer and account that is and see if you can connect them to your own account, if it's a family member. Other than that, you will lose everything. You can try an app called SharePod to save your music to your computer and iTunes account but that's about it.

Thanks for the reply and yes my mistake, I am in the wrong forum as I am talking about an iPod touch 4G. I have requested for the thread to be moved to the appropriate place.
In response to your advice: I got the same message for uploading music and music videos to my iPod touch through iTunes as well -the one about deleting all your apps if you went ahead. However I got around this by clicking on the name of my ipod/touch on the left of iTunes and then going to the menu bar at the top of my computer and creating two new playlists; one for music and the other for music videos. I then threw in all my music and vids into those playlists and they have synced with my iPod touch with no problem. Nevertheless, if I do the same procedure for photographs, there is no option in the top menu bar of my computer for creating a file for your photographs (as obviously you can't chuck them into a playlist) - I wonder why there is no option to create a new photograph file under the name of your ipod but you can for music and music vids?
Thanks anyway for your your help and you may well be right that I might lose everything for uploading photographs.
