{QUESTION} ABOUT iPhone 3GS MC model

I already wasted so much time trying to update and jailbreak my iPhone 3gs which is unluckiliy an MC Model..

I just want to know if there a way to jailbreak this UNTETHERED?

They always say MC model only applies TETHERED JBs

5.1.1 is untethered with absinthe, but 6.x is tethered with redsn0w on the new bootrom 3GS. I edited your post to remove the profanity.

You can use the iDetector tool to verify whether it's really an old or new bootrom device....even though it's an MC model there is a small chance it's an old bootrom device...which will give you an untethered jailbreak

i already jailbroken it and its TETHERED.. so its a new bootroom?
