quick question re. phone function

Every time I place a call, a message pops up telling me that call forwarding is active. It blocks my ability to enable the speaker or bluetooth and is VERY annoying. Any way to make it stop? I have to physically dismiss it every time, and usually by the time I do, the audio selection is gone or the person I've called has picked up.

Welcome to the club. Some of us have been asking about this since nearly day 1 and unless I've missed it have not seen an answer. I now just ignore it and it goes away or if I'm in a hurry to get to speaker button will hit the Dismiss, but it is annoying and nothing I've found can stop it -- there is of course a setting for Call Forwarding but it seems to have no affect.

I'm having this same exact problem. There seems to be no answer just yet... so I'm bumping this thread.

first ove a month or so we seem to have narrowed it to a NC and SC problemo and then several of us happily found the other day that the 1.1.1 update CURED it

I never found a sollution until the upgrade and never saw one either. This was an unlisted benefit to add to the other improvements.

Have you updated and aare you still getting it?

Nope, unfortunately I couldn't have an iPhone unless unlocked (live in Santiago, Chile!) so there's no 1.1.1 for me.

And the msg is driving me nuts...

I feel your pain. After awhile it just became part of making a call. it does go away on its own and its only when you want to go quickly to another feature of making a call that you ahve to hit the dismiss button.

Interesting -- so now the list is NC, SC and Chile!
