The keyboard to me is as good as any of the smart phones out there. the only difference is that it's touch screen and it does have all the symbols. (according to me)...just wanted to know how the kybd is wkn for everyone...does it have a good variety of symbols...like $%*_~...you know...the treo has a lot of symbols...but we're not tlkn bout the treo are we...its all bout the iPhone shaughte!...speak at me...
does it have more...i still have my treo...i'm suppose to be getting the iPhone next fri...It's really easy to access - you just click a little button that says ".?123" and it takes you to a screen with the numbers and symbols. These are the symbols that the iPhone has:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
- / : ; ( ) $ & @ "
# + = . , ? ! '
Yes, it does.does it have more...i still have my treo...i'm suppose to be getting the iPhone next fri...
I like the keyboard and feel it is complete, but I am not thrilled with the correction software. It only offers one possible other word if you make a mistake and sometimes that is not the word I want. Furthermore it often makes you type in the entire word minus one letter before offering a suggestion. This is not the best feature of the iPhone. That said I still like the device.Yes, it does.
After you hit the ".?123" key in SMS, you also have the option to hit the "#+=" key which gives you stuff like []{}#%^*+=_\|~<>¥·.,?!'
