For the past few years I've taken my broke self into Radio Shack on launch day and have been able to trade in my iPhone 3G for the 3GS, and the 4. Does anyone know if radio shack is still doing trade ins?

yes trade in at radio shack is still going on. But the prices have slipped due to the iPhone 5 announcement.
Your welcome that's where I got my 4s from . They called me night before release date told to come in at 8am by 8:30 I was walking out the door. With bestbuy they give you gift card or take less amount and get cash.
Hmm the best buy idea isn't bad since I am not due for a full upgrade yet I can just use that gift card to buy the new phone. I would get more money if I sold it for cash though...decisions decisions.
I'm not sure about the 4S but BestBuy was only giving about $175 for the 4 (32GB) in near perfect condition.
thanks, I checked online and it said $278 for 16GB 4S in near perfect condition, which isn't too bad.
