I tried doing one of the mods, where you just drag and drop the icons, and 2 of the icons on my iPhone changed. the rest stayed the same.

Why is that?

Did you remember to delete the original icon from each directory first, and is each icon named "icon.png"?

Also, in my experience, don't try to drag and drop multiple files -- drag one at a time for consistent results.

Yeah I wouldn't suggest dragging and dropping more then 1 file at a time.. also make sure u delete the old one 1st

You don't have to delete the original file. You can just drag the new one over. It will just overwrite the one that was previously there. You also have to make sure that you drag and the drop the icons in the correct folders and that the file names are the EXACTLY the same as the original. Also, some files cannot be changed.
