Recent call list

When I click recent calls its kind of annoying that I have to click the tab to see if the call is dialed or received.

Also why can't you delete any of your recents, you have to clear the whole thing to get rid of one. You know what i mean?

I absolutely do. This has been bugging me for last hour or so, tried everything i could think of to delete one recent call and I keep accidentally calling it again. There must be a way short of deleting/clearing the entire list. Read the users Guide etc and i can find nothing. Figured it would be the swipe delete but noooo.

Apple is assuming your not cheating on your wife and calling people you shouldnt. thats about the only time you need to delete one recent call. XD

im sure there are other reasons, so don't flame me, just logicaly the recent call list shows your calls from last clear to present, its not ment to be tampered with or it would be an untrue representation of the recent calls.

i do agree it is annoying that there isn't the option, but its not the most needed feature.

hahaha! Rinual I was thinking the same exact thing. Another feature I think they left out was call ignoring. I know you can get mcleaner but for some reason it won't download for me.

I use iLog and it's great, it even gives you to the second call times and incorporates SMS log as well. It has notifications but I don't use them as I use Status Notifier. Status notifier is missing something that iLog or as it's now known MobileLog has, defining a time when notifications are active say between 9AM- 10PM cool feature I hope to find in Status Notifier soon.

If you have Jailbroken your iPhone I recommend MobileLog (iLog) it also replaces the iPhones default recents display with iLogs cool feature!

i cant live without being able to delete them, its only a minor annoyance, but i would also like to be able to tell if its incoming or outgoing from the first screen...

another thing that i just thought of that might not exactly be relevant but is still annoying is that when youre on a call, i wish it would tell you the phone number of the contact, like right under the name like this or something: (sorry haven't installed photoshop on this computer yet so i had to use paint)

Unless you're jailbroken, you can't delete the recent calls one at a time. And why are you replying to question asked years ago? LOL
