When I upgraded from the iPhone 4 to the 4s I lost my previous SMS messages. This would normally not be such a problem but I now find myself needing some of my previous messages for semi-legal reasons. I've learned where the previous backups are stored on the PC and I am sure the data is available there. My question: Is there a way to recover the lost SMS data? I would think that a restore from the previous backup would cause a loss of data that has accumulated since the restore. I've had the new phone since the first day it was released (10/14) and would not want to loose everything since that day. Is it possible to restore SMS messages alone?
