Here's my problem.......I have a couple of albums where the album art is "fuzzy" and I've now found a great album art site, (thanks to this forum), and the album art is much, much clearer. How do I replace the album art already in place in iTunes with the newer, clearer album art. Thanks in advance. Cheers !

Go to amazon.com and copy their album art. Then open iTunes delete the album art currently assigned to the file and then paste the new amazon image in its place.

Thanks for the reply, ColsTiger, but for some reason I wasn't able to delete the album art. Do you just right click on the album art up in the Cover Flow area, or down in the left hand bottom corner and click delete ? Thanks again for trying to help me. Cheers !

Right click on the song you want to change the album art for (or highlight all the songs in the album by clicking the first song, holding [shift] and clicking the last in that album). After they are all highlighted, right click and hit get info. You will see the album art in a small square on the right of the box that pops up. Go to amazon.com, search for that album, copy the picture, and then paste it in that box from the last step.

Should be good to go.

Note: If you want to delete old album art (because I tunes will store both and display newest, double click on the album art box from get info, and then hit the arrow over button in the box that pops up, you can see/delete all or any album art from there.

I second that thanks to Citsur86! Also, what are ID3 tags? And can you guys tell me that site for good album art? Amazon's picture for the album I want is really small (so in iTunes it's surrounded by a big white border). (Surprisingly iTunes doesn't sell "Fear" by Toad the Wet Sprocket, so I can't download it from there.)

To your first question, ID3 tags are tags embedded inside the actual music file which store information like Title, Artist, Album, Rating, Genre, even album artwork.

Second, think of this. In amazon, if you click on the button to enlarge the album you are looking for, and it has the white border on it, a lot of the times you can just copy the smaller version (from before you clicked on it), and put that in iTunes. Because your screen on the iPhone is comparably smaller to that of the computer monitor (I would hope! lol), the image should appear suprisingly clear on the iPhone and even your computer. If that doesn't work, someone will have to post the good album artwork site, because I am not aware of it sorry :(

Hey RyanP ! Someone suggested this site for album art and I've found it to be very helpful. They have "Fear" by Toad The Wet Sprocket. Check it out. Cheers !
