Restoring .ithmb files from computer HDD

Hello all. Recently had to set iPhone back to the new phone setting and lost the backup file that iTunes created. I have all the 0KB .ithmb files and a handful of files with sizes, in the photo cache folder. I want to get those pics back on the phone or convert them or something. Any ideas? All the other threads pointed to software and other ways that don't work.

iPhone 4 (white)
Pc and Mac computers on hand.

Files with zero size don't contain any graphic information, other files can contain. You can view content of ITHMB files with iThmb Converter (http://www.ithmbconverter.com/), also it allow you batch convert of ITHMB to JPG. After converting you can sync resulting JPEGs with iPhone.

I tried that program and when I try to convert my files it just sits there after the first three and doesn't do anything what am I doing wrong? I have hundreds that I want to convert..any advice?

Maybe it is a bug of program. Contact with program support.
