Retrieve unedited photo

I edited a photo and saved it thinking that it would save as a new picture on the camera roll, not replace the original... Is the original lost forever or is it retrievable? I have not synced my photos with my computer.

Sorry to say, but the original is gone I wish it would save as a new image or let you choose a different name, etc...

I also agree that this aspect sucks. I do like being able to edit photos and while having the new and old saved would start to take up room wish it was an option.

If you edit with PS Express (or similar) both the original and new version are saved.

Good to know. Now I know to take the same picture twice if there's any chance I might want to edit. Then I have one to edit and one original to keep.
