Hey Guys...I purchased a Revo 2 on friday morning, now since then there website still said "processing" for the order status....and i checked today and it says "ships in 3-5 businesss days". Can someone tell me if they have had a similar experience or if im just paranoid? I purchased a "NuTouch" phone case from fommy.com...it's one of those hard plastic cases where it also covers the front screen but the screen is still touch friendly, when i received it,it had scratches all over it...and they said it was scratch proof. So in short, im just worried about getting ripped off.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the shield for the revo2 is just a cover for the screen when you're not using it. The shield attaches to the back when you want to use your iPhone.

The revo2 comes with a screen protector as well.

Ordered mine on friday morning too, and it says 'Ships in 3-5 Business Days', i wouldn't worry too much if i was you. Why do you have the feeling of being ripped off.

Besides patience is a virtue ;)

Mine arrived on friday 01/08, so just one week for shipping from US to Belgium. Now i just have to get that iPhone to go with it. As soon as that's done i'll probably take some pics of it.

One week is a quick turnaround to Begium. I've been waiting for the Apple store to get their stock but might change my plan of action now. Of course, the minute I order it online they will receive their shipment.

Anyway, what color did you get?

No mate, my iPhone was ordered on 11/07, yes when it was launched. And
actually the iSkin Revo2 was ordered on 25/07

Oh well patience is a virtue they say ... but it's wearing thin right now :laugh2:

I got my Revo2 today...everything about it is awesome, feels much better than #1, except that the case no longer fits on the back of the phone when I need to use the touchscreen, which sucks and pretty much guarantees that I will lose the face plate :(

What do you mean when you say the case no longer fits on the back of the phone? Are you referring to the plastic face plate protector? I'm confused.

So this is totally bogus?

I ordered my revo2 last night and I still have time to cancel, could you please elaborate more on the "case no longer fits on the back" comment. How can the case "no longer" fit if you just got it today? Do you have an iPhone 3g, or are you using the v1 iPhone?

he's talking about the front hard plastic piece that fits over the screen. he is saying that it no longer fastens to the back of the case while you are using the touch screen like the old revo case. i think he may be wrong, but it's not necessary to flip out. take a deep breath and re-read his original post, you should probably just wait until you get the case and if you don't like it...........return it

seriously people, it's not hard to figure out what he is talking about. it's even easier to go to iskin.com and figure out that according to them (iskin) he (iLami) is wrong.

I understand that the "description" of the case http://iskin.com/revo2_screen_protection.html insinuates that he is wrong, which is why it was so confusing when he stated that his doesn't. There are dozens of nice looking quality silicone cases that I would like to buy/try sub the $40 price tag(not including shipping). What made this one unique was not only its style, but the fact that this screen protector storage to me was an intriguing and impressive design. So if this design is flawed, why would I waste the time; taking the time; to take a deep breath, waiting on this case to be shipped(which takes longer than advertised judging by the post Ive read) when I could be researching and spending my money elsewhere?

Honestly I never used the plastic screen protector on my original Revo case... NEVER. I just put a crystal film over the screen and that was definitely ample protection. The screen on my first gen looks like it did back on iDay 1.

thats what I meant...that detachable 2nd face plate, from the 3G Iskin Revo, is not attaching nicely to the back of my 3G iPhone when I want to use the touch screen and keep the face plate nearby for when I return it over the face of the phone (when it goes back in my pocket)...

I had the first iPone and Revo, and it fit perfect. But the contour of the back of the iPhone seems to have changed with the 3G, and it doesn't allow for such a good fit...either that or I got a shotty Revo....but I figure I will see what the deal is when the rest of you guys get your cases and post your impressions here...Id take pix and post but I am not that saavy with computers...sorry fellas
