So here goes. This is actually 1001. I liked that number better.
First and foremost. Chris thank you for having and running such an amazing site. I stumbled upon it searching for answers and I haven't left. Thank you and keep up the great work. To all the mods I do not think i have ever crossed any of you. I try and stay mindful of the rules. I appreciate all that you guys do in keeping the site up and free of spam.
I am 31. I am from California. Was born and raised in Cloverdale. If anyone knows where that is I am sorry. lol For the last 12 ish years I have been living in Washington. The state.
I did 12 and half years in the NAVY as a submariner. I loved it.... still do but was time for me to move on to something else. So after an honorable discharge I recently got a job working in the shipyard fixing the very boats I once served on. I have a sailor mouth. I am very opinionated and feel that I fought for freeedom of speech there fore I am going to use it. However comma I am the first to admit when I may have said something wrong or over stepped a line.
I play softball year round and shoot pool everyday. I love trophies and have many for both. My avatar is my dog. He is a four pound chihuahua.
I normally post in off topic. If i do know an answer for certain however I will and do chime in.
I have met some very nice people here. Kevin I find your humor similar to mine and enjoy your posts and your banning. Chris (canamera) I am glad that I met you and hope that we remain friends.... even if you are canadian. Kidding. Mac you crack me up. you have the energy I wish I still had. iPhonewarrior thank you for always getting my jokes even when most don't. Kati we clicked from the first second. I still have your son you still have my blanket. I like you.
To anyone I forgot I am sorry. I probably don't like you as much as you think I do lol. If I don't like you, you will know it.
Did i forget anything? I am sure I did. Just ask.

Great reveal and thanks for the mention.

I'm a Submariner also, so what you've said above I can relate to. I've got another 3 days in the Royal Navy. I've served 6 years and 3 days. I loved it and I'm genuinely going to miss it, I left for a "stable" life.

Which boats did you serve on and which specialisation were you?

I served on board HMS Sceptre, HMS Superb and HMS Astute. All Nuclear Hunter-Killers, never served on board any trident boat.

Excellent reveal. Thanks for sticking around and for sharing more about yourself. I always look forward to the reveal.

BTW, I moved your post to the new 1K Member Reveals section.(y)

Who knew this forum had such appeal to submariners. (is that the right term?O_o)

There isn't a way to restrict posting to members with 1,000 or more posts. I just keep it entirely closed and move'em when they happen. We don't see them often, but I hope we get more down the road.
