Saving photos on iPhone?

Hey, I was just curious if anyone knows if the iPhone will be able to save photos/pictures from the web while browsing around on the internet with your iPhone?

Considering the email abilities of the iPhone (including pictures, etc.) I was hoping it would be possible to save photos from websites onto the iPhone...

Im sure they will have it. However I don't know if it will go into a DOWNLOADS Folder or actually allow you to then view it on your iPhone without first syncing to a pc.

My guess is that you will be able to save any pics from the internet. You can do this on a PSP or most other devices, and I can't see Apple skimping out on the details such as this.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm thinking like you guys are and I'm assuming you should be able to do this with the iPhone.

It probably would just save the picutre into the "photo" portion of the iPod part of the iPhone and just let you select what folder/categroy to store/save it in. At least that would make the most sense to me.

Yep, no problem. That sounds reasonable that they would go into the pic section, too.

I have an iPhone and am writing this message from my iPhone. Yes its a freaken amazing phone but i have not been able to save a picture from the internet or my email. I wish i could find out how theres a lot of wallpapers out there and with the free internet it would be ideal to be able to save pix found for contacts or wallpaper...I'll be kinds upset ifs its not possible.

U have to touch and hold it finger on the pic u wanna save then an option will come up and then save the pic! ^^
