Scenario for Friday- online or store

So what would you do. I plan on going to my local ATT store at 3:00. I get in line with the intentions of buying an 8gig and if they sell out and only have 4gigs.... i go home. I was thinking of taking the laptop and if Apple online orders start at 6pm eastern "5pm my time" I could try ordering one online. But if I get one online and then stay in line and Im able to get a 8 gig right now.......what do I do. Can I cancel my Apple order or do I have to leave and wait 3-5 more days.... this has been itching at me for days

This happens to be my plan of action as well... The AT&T Store is right next to the starbucks. So, if it just so happens that I can't get one that night.. Well. I'll be drinking my venti iced chai.. ordering my iPhone. I also have my bf coming with me that day, so I'll have him keeping an eye on the Apple situation as well...
