Subatomic particles exceed the speed of light.
This was huge news yesterday in this thread:Subatomic particles exceed the speed of light.
For some people here I bet it's nothing more than White noise, and for some users... I bet the MPAA would have a field day. LolScientists use brain imaging to reveal the movies in our mind:
OopsThis was huge news yesterday in this thread:
much more win can be found here:"Misbehaved neutrinos? Three options: 1) Mistake; 2) They live backwards in time -- okay w/ Einstein; 3) Extend Relativity"
I doubt we will ever know if the second rat is conscious of the remote stimuli or if it just reacted with a "better than random chance." I got a chill down my spine imagining "getting connected" to another persons mind like that. It brings up so many questions: With our human consciousness, would we feel the connection? Would we be able to discern the remote impulse separate from our own psyche? If so, could we resist it? How much will advances in this technology enhance communication and reduce misunderstandings? Can it be used for mind control? Do we even have free will in the first place? Can we set this up over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth? Have I read too many Sci-Fi novels or too many books about ESP and Channeling?Wow. Scientists wire two rats' brains together and share a thought across the internet.
Cool but a bit scary.
Yeah. Manipulating atoms just isn't good enough. Give me a good plot over a good score any day. That's pretty amazing. Though I suppose they blew all their money on atom manipulators and couldn't hire a real film scorer or audio engineer...
