Since you are looking at quantity and vastness of space, it makes perfect sense. I was looking at it from the perspective that we are just now discovering another planet similar to Earth. I find it fascinating (Science, that is) but for people that believe in 8 planets (Pluto not considered any more) then it's hard to believe we now have two planets that can essentially be Earth.

You can believe all you want in only eight planets, but there are many more out there (not in our solar system) that we've discovered..

Science claims that there are only 8 planets. I believe that there are more, but for all intents and purposes there are only 8.

Not just now. They have been finding them for quite some time.

You mean people who deny science and only believe there is one sun and one solar system in the universe?

In our solar system. There are over 100 billion galaxies in the universe. Watch this. It will help you get past our solar system and see how vast the universe is. It has a tendency to make people feel tiny.

Well, the only proof I can show is that Pluto does not have the same characteristics as the other 8 planets in the solar system. Here is an interesting article:

Dude, you're trapped within our solar system. These hundreds of other planets are not in our solar system. I don't know how much more clearly I can explain this to you. Which part aren't you getting?

I watched the video that Europa posted and I think I need to start thinking infinite instead of finite. It's not that hard to believe that there exists other planets outside of the solar system. After all, we haven't traveled to every corner of the solar system. I was living in this dream paradox that there cannot possibly be more than 8 planets (but who knows how many are undiscovered).

That's not a dream paradox. That's just ignorance and denying science. We have direct proof of planets in other solar systems.

Okay. Until you can break your mind free of our solar system, I'm afraid I don't have anything else to offer you.
