Screen protector's ....

Okay so im getting an ipod TOMORROW ... excited much

And im wondering do I really need a screen protector, I mean, I have a case

And the only places my ipod will be is either in my blazer pocket, which will ONLY have my ipod in and nothing else. Then when I get home its going straight into this :-

Unless im playing it, apart from that it stays in the dock overnight to charge. I mean the only damage its going to take is while im playing it, and Im very careful with belonging's so I will never (hopefully) drop it or anything like that.

So ... what do u think ?

They are cheap, and might help keep your screen protected from damage. I would at least consider it.

So your screen does not get scratched. Poll the people who have scratched their screens. You will find only a very small percentage of them do it intentionally.

I prefer to run without a screen protector. I do have some very faint unintentional scratches (including one little gash from sand at the beach), but you can't see them when the phone is on (except the one from the beach). I like how the screen looks and feels without screen protectors. The oleophobic coating on the 3GS scratches easier than the 3G IME.

Im very careful with stuff like this, so I think il be ok.

If anything happens to it, il be angry at myself, but it wont be the end of the world, I might get an iPhone next christmas anyway

Hopefully you can get it when it comes out in July. kk
You'll be able to get it for $199 with an AT&T contract.
Maybe you could sell the iPod on eBay at that time to pay for the iPhone.
