Sent Mail Swoosh Sound

My iPhone 5 is making the sent mail alert "SWOOSH" as soon as I hit send . Previous iPhone 4 with IOS6
Made the "SWOOSH" when the mail actually was sent . I heard swoosh and found mail still in my outbox ? BTW: yahoo is my primary mail account . Thanks for any responses

I remember reading that regardless of the status of the mail being sent, the alert sounds as soon as you hit send. I prefer the old way as you KNEW that the mail went out as you heard the sound.

Yep at first I thought ios6 was sending lighting fast mail. Truth is, it's a fast swoosh sound. I'm not really liking it. A false sense of security that the mail went out.
