Ok here is the deal. I want an iPhone i have to raise up $300 by Christmas but i have some concerns. First of all i have the env from verizon wireless because i love to txt. When i tried to txt on the iPhone it was kind of hard. Second of all i don't have an iPod and i want one. Third of all i am just concerned that if i bring it to school it will get stolen. I do not go to a ghetto highschool or a rich high school. I go to an average high school.

I don't think having it stolen should be a factor in whether or not you should buy it. ANYONE can have theirs stolen..ofcourse taking it to school has a higher chance and Iam taking it to HS this year myself, but not until I get insurance. If you are going to get a iPhone and are worried about getting it stolen, get insurance. iPhone also has Ipod and the Keyboard is real easy to get used to. Its the best device out there imo and I personally think you should buy it.

The insurance is Apple care? Right? Even if i did bring it to school and get it stolen Apple care is only good if your iPhone breaks. If it gets stolen and you don't get it back than how will Apple care work.

Ok, i loved my iPhone so much, but after a few weeks getting over the glory of the thing, i just realized im only 17, why do i need this kind of phone, when all i do is phone and text. i mean if the phone you have now is only used for calling and texting. Then i would stick with a cheaper phone, the iPhone is an amazing phone don't get me wrong but kids at our age really cant used all of it to our advantage as much as other people can. just my 2 cents.

I heard you can buy insurance from the Insurance companies out there like state farm and such and they cover for theft, damage and all that.

I agree with you and I personally thought of this when I bought it. The phone itself replaced the Zune for me and has helped me stay organized(I use the calendar feature), though at our age using it to the full potential is hard..unless you check email and surf web a lot. I only bought the phone because I loved it when I tried it out.ofcourse we wont be able to use all the features for a while, but iam thinking this phone will last me for a quite a while :D

Ya haha i bought the new razr v3xx which is a very nice phone, but i cant decide weather to just keep the iPhone when i get bored of this so i can switch back and forth..or just ebay it. idk i mean switching back and forth would be quite the luxury. and i can still use it as an ipod since its unlocked.

the more you use the iPhone the more you will want to keep it... but depending on they type of kid you are having it in highschool could be very good or very bad...

not making judgment on you because i have no idea who you are... but if your sorta a pussy you will probably get your ass beat for the iPhone...

if your the normal avg kid that doesn't attract a lot of attention you should be left alone and the iPhone will pay for itself if you play it off right... the iPhone in highschool has gotta be a serious pussy magnet
