As far as quality, Shure headphones are really nice. I wish my pair work with my iPhone.

Shure is a well recognized quality brand. I have not used the ATT packaged ones. I use the Shure Ec4 style. I think they retail for $300+. They provide amazing sound and clarity. They also have nice bass and cancel all background noise on my airplane flights.

I only use them for listening (movies, videos, music) since they do not have a mic for answering calls. But that is no big deal to me. It is pretty simple to remove the plug from the jack and take the call.

The i2c-m Shure headset does allow you to answer via the mic switch. Shure is also releasing an iPhone specific adapter soon that will make any earbud compatible with the iPhone (MPA is the model name).

I'm waiting on the i3c-m. If it's the same as the regular i3c, it'll offer a little better bang for the buck that the i2c. You can find the 3 online for about $50 more than the 2, and the sound is more full and a little less bass heavy. Soundstaging is also improved, but if you aren't saving your music at 192Kbps or better, none of this matters, and high end earbuds are a waste of money.

Even better would be an Etymotic earbud for the iPhone, but they haven't announced anything, yet...

I bought the Shure i2c from att and thought they sucked. The wire over the ear is stupid and there is no serious bass to be heard from these. I returned them within the hour and then bought the v-moda vibe duo, much better bass and they are lighter and more comfortable.

I'll have to agree hardly any bass whatsoever in these earbuds. they sound good but I would have liked some bass. considering returning them and purchasing the v-moda as well.
