Yes you can. You could have used your old sim card in your iPhone, too.No to both.
I don't believe you can use the iPhone sim in another phone and another sim wont work in it, hence the point of activation.
Thats to the best of my knowledge anyway.
Are you sure that your old SIM card (i.e. the one not activated with iPhone) works in your iPhone?Yes you can. You could have used your old sim card in your iPhone, too.
..and yes I have verified it.
Aaah! so you used your old cingular/AT&T account. I mistook it for a non-AT&T SIM card. Yes ofcourse it works/should work.Yes again. I activated my Wife's iPhone with her old SIM Card and all feature work.
Unlocked has nothing to do with it since l am a Cingular (AT&T) Customer.
It's a Cingular new 3g SIM.
If it didn't work for someone, how old is you SIM?
I had updated all 3 SIM's I have back in September to the new 3g ones.
"any other" means cingular/AT&T or SIM from other carriers?Hello all... I just found out how to remove my sim card. I have 2 questions:
-will my iPhone sim card work in any other phone?
-will any other sim card work in my iPhone?
Thanks.
