Don't see why not, although it's time well spent adding music and videoafter it says more activation time needed, do you think i could remove it from the base? =/ I want to run down the battery before charging it.
To answer in order:
mine was fully charges right out of the box
iTunes recognized it immediately and started the process
yes 7.3 is required (I installed this earlier today)
Didn't need to touch the old phone.. it was all behind the scenes...
No Video... just Camera
Yes.. if you don't have one it will set you up with one......do you have to have an account?
That sucks.. I'm sorry you are having issues... worked flawlessly for me...My entire iPhone experience has been a nightmare so far. I can't get iTunes to read the phone, i've reinstalled 2 times and i can't do anything.
ok so i don't have to set up an acct just yet...when i get the iPhone i just simply start iTunes and it'll sync up and set up..do i need to have internet connection on my desktop?Yes.. if you don't have one it will set you up with one...
No credit card needed at the time either unless you plan to buy stuff on the iTunes store
Incorrect..ok so i don't have to set up an acct just yet...when i get the iPhone i just simply start iTunes and it'll sync up and set up..do i need to have internet connection on my desktop?
Yes. I have WinXP.is everyone who is having problems running either WinXP-Service Pack 2 or Vista? Those are the only two WinOS versions supported at this time.
what i'm doing is settn up an acct now...and it's requiring a credit card...i figure i just set up the acct now...when i get the phone then it'll just activate right...did you have an acct before you activatedIncorrect..
if you don't have an iTunes account then it requires you to create one...
Internet Connection required
You do not have to specify a credit card at this time for the account... but if you ever plan to buy songs or video on iTunes you will need to set this up later.
did you have to do anything with the email you got saying it was activated or did it just happen.I'm an existing customer, so the whole setup and activation took a whopping 5 minutes from the time iTunes started to the time the phone was activated... surprising considering I expected servers to be swamped...
On the downside... no Ringtone Tab...![]()
