Siri navigation tip!

When asking Siri for directions, follow it up with the words "via transit" and you'll be able to use a 2nd party navigation app like google maps or navigon. I've tried it and can confirm it works! Nice Easter Egg!

Which version of iOS? This is what I get:

I just tried it and it worked. I'm using iOS 6.0.2.

You do have to have iOS 5.1 or higher.

It will pull up google maps for your car too at least that is what showdown europa's screen shot

I don't have subways or rails, either. Adding "via transit" is just a way to get Siri to give you an option to open the alternate maps apps that you have installed on 5.1 and higher (see the first two apps in my screenshot).
