SMS (SMS-received.caf) How big/large can a replacement be?

I have the lucky situation of using my iPhone as a pager as well. Pages come in via SMS.

I have increased the DB of the original sms-received.caf but need something Much Louder and Longer to make sure I don't miss a page.

Can people post how large they have been able to make their SMS sounds?

I have a sms-received.car that is 985k. I had another sound new-mail.caf I think it was a full song 4.8M.

Does your song play all the way through everytime even after pressing buttons to try to stop it?

I had an tone for sms, bout 13 secs. long, but it will keep going till end, pressing buttons had not effect on silicing it.
