Stills from video?

I thought I heard you can take stills while making a video. Anybody figure out how to do that? Searched around and couldn't find any info on it.

The stills from Video is a feature on the new Samsung phone i think. I don't recall it being in iOS 6

It's an iPhone 5 feature but there have been apps that does this in the appstore for quite some time now.

From the information on the Keynote, you are supposed to be able to take stills while video recording.

On Apple.com still capture from video mentioned with iPhone 5, not mentioned with IOS6.

From that screenshot looks like they were talking about the iPhone 5 features.

You can take still pics from videos. All you have to do is take a picture of your screen using the lock and home button combo. It's been able to do this since video recording was available on iPhone

I'm listening to it and he's talking about the new camera with the iPhone 5. So this is a feature on the iPhone 5 not the IOS 6 software.

Doesn't really matter. It might help with a certain shot but it looks like crap, it doesn't really take a photograph as much as take a screenshot with the aspect ratio of a video. In other words, not ideal for actual photography.
