stylus problems with the new iPad?

hey guys,

my Griffin stylus worked GREAT on the ipad2.. on the new ipad, it's not as smooth as it was before, a lot of glitching. its a huge difference.. do you think the new retina screen has anything to do with it? should i buy a new stylus?

My old Incipio stylus is working just fine with the New iPad. I don't think there is a specific stylus just for the iPad 3.
