Is this a bummer for anyone else? I know it's a pretty reliable source and that we will not know until the release of the iPhone 5. But a 3.7" screen would it actually make any difference? I mean .2" bigger? Seriously? Apple are supposed to be the market leader and a 4"+ screen has been on my wish list for a while now. The report of a .2" increase disappoints me.

Any thoughts?

as long as they make a 64G option and the dual core processor and faster and more RAM....the 3.7 inch screen will be OK...........

don't get me wrong.............i would love a 4+ inch screen.......but as long as they put everything else in there, i will be happy

I'm not to concerned about an increase in screen size. What I don't want to see is an increase in size of the handset itself. IMO, the iPhone4 is the perfect size. If they fit a bigger screen into it, cool. If the screen stays the same, I'm cool with that too.

It would be a great upgrade I'm sure, regardless of screen size. But I'm sold on gestures. And the iPhone 4 isn't great for them. I'd like to see an edge to edge.

i agree we won't know until they announce it (hopefully Sept 7th)

but I agree............I don't want the iPhone 5 to become like the Thunderbolt or Incredible2 and be TOO HUGE......

I like the current size and if they increase the screen size and keep it the same size----------AWESOME...

Well for that you need to first ensure if any such scheme really exists and secondly, you need to know if you fit in those circumstances or terms of conditions that we call from which you can really benefit yourself.

yes its a bummer and I don't believe its true. I think a lot of reports are mixing up iPhone4S with iPhone 5 and reporting both phones as the same. iPhone 4S will replace iPhone4 as the low end iPhone and 5 will be all new iPhone

I think that the screen doesn't need to get bigger. Other phones* that have a large screen make me feel like I should just carry a tablet around.

It's a phone not a portable tv.
