Summerboard = Springboard on roids

Check your Installer.app and get to installin' Summerboard!

Easy scrolling of your icons, and an actual skinnable background. It displays your Wallpaper as your current background, so you may need to select something more appropriate, i.e. something that doesn't make your icons hard to find.

This really makes skinning A WHOLE LOT EASIER!

I never bothered because of the whole process involved with faking a background image.

Pretty sweet. I like it much better than having to go into launcher or use Dock.

The scrolling isn't quite as smooth but I assume that can be fixed later. Also, it didn't stop scrolling at the bottom of the screen but just kept scrolling to blackness. Then a reboot fixed that issue.

D'oh! I just left a post about this in the mods section! lol. I concur! this is like the best thing that's happened so far. Combine this with RSBT so you can move around your icons and get things like stocks and whatever else down to the bottom and you're all set! I could think of some improvements but who couldn't. That being said, I'm just about as thoroughly satisfied with my iPhone now as I can be! Now i just wish there was an app that could change my carrier logo and the like. Everything i've seen so far is rather complicated. and i'm not that technically inclined.

As much as I like the fact it scrolls the icons .. I Mean yeah its insane and I like it a lot.. I just don't like the fact it uses the wallpaper I have on the locked screen lol.. yes granted I can get a black wallpaper to make it like the original but then my lock screen is black too...

I just looks to messy on the home screen with wallpaper showing .

Yes, that is clearly a big problem. Since this is the original release, there's a good chance that will be changed soon. At least I hope so.

oh i LOVE that it has the background image. however i do see your point. i would like two different images for those screens as well. perhaps an update that will let you pic which screen is gonna be the background and not just snatching your wallpaper settings? sounds good, right?

Changing the carrier logo is very easy. Are you on windows or mac?
on windows use ibrickr. Then all you have to do is change 2 files

Wow nice. I being waiting for sumething like this. i was going crazy loosing my icon and them launch wasn't on the first screen either. i was looking into iFuntastic just because it let you create multiple home screen and that was my only choice to get all my app visible. i finally got the Dock installed but Dock has a big problem i will make a post explaining it. Any way i love this im getting rid of Dock and Launch

I like Summerboard and Dock. They compliment each other nicely. Dock has had some major updates, just yesterday (much bigger icons, easier to select, etc.).

Summerboard is great in concert with rSBT. I moved the apps I wanted to see to the "Third Party" section. After I moved one app there nothing in "Hidden" showed up in Summerboard. So I moved most other apps up to Third Party (but not every one--such as Preview and TextEdit which are better used with Mobile Finder).

One thing I think the iPhone needs is a way to control multi-tasking, and the saving of states.

i wish that the peeps that made the tictactoe would make it to where you can choose 1 or 2 players. kinda would make it more fun if you and a friend could be sittin there on break or something and play tictactoe lol

I love this, but the only thing I don't like is now all my lazy icon-makers are made known, such as SendSong and TicTacToe. I can see an ugly black square around them now. I'm sure they thought no one would notice against the black background but now with a wallpaper background it is noticeable and hideous.

Great program! but one small bug... the red text notification with count doesn't appear next to the springboard icon anymore! Also, I don't appear to be able to uninstall it!

I can uninstall it alright, but the text count thing is really annoying. I hope they notice this and fix it...

i just had this happen, but i don't think it was because of this program. i think it was another program that was causing the glitch. either way. i turned the iPhone off and back on and it was gone. plus i deleted things like Launcher and Dock being that they are useless now that this app is available.

When I installed this is also installed demoapp and fieldtest and now I have no idea how to get these two things off my phone because I have been using ibrickr and Installer.app and either of these notice these apps are installed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

those are programs indigenous to the iPhone. probably something Apple will be unlocking with an update at a later date. at least that's what i've been told
